The aim of LP4Y is to assist in the social and professional integration of excluded and vulnerable young people (14-22 yrs) : young ex-prisoners, the disabled, abuse sufferers, young people fleeing famine, conflict or natural disasters, street children.
We have created 2 humanitarian organizations in France and in Belgium to raise funds and set up partnerships to provide long-term support for our pilot projects in the Philippines.
In “Life Project Centers” situated near slum areas LP4Y welcomes excluded young people, identifies their immediate needs, and helps them to find a Life Project.
The young people are oriented either towards a program for micro-economic initiatives, lasting a matter of months and taking place within the Life Project Centre, or towards a more complex program within the “Training and Development Center”(TDC).
In the TDCs the young people are organized into teams, and LP4Y trains, advises and accompanies them, ensuring the best possible conditions for this developmental period.
This period of coaching can last 2 to 4 years, until the young people become autonomous, independent, and ultimately involved in the development of others.
